Santa Cruz Release the new Bullit E - Bike

Re-using another name from their past history of bikes , Santa Cruz bikes have just released details of their new E- Bike , the Bullit. Powered by the new Shimano EP8 motor and with a large 630w/hr battery this is bang upto date.
The new bike has 170mm of travel front and rear and is built around a 27.5" wheel at the rear and a 29" wheel at the front. This so Called " Mullet " Setup gives the best of both worlds, the smaller wheel and larger tyre at the rear for traction and the larger wheel at the front for roll over ability. An added bonus is greater " butt clearance" when descending as you can get lower over the back of the bike. Using their Carbon CC frame with a lifetime warranty.
Shimano's commitment to the STEPS EP8 motor means we have a lighter, more powerful (85nm), more compact and more efficient way of reaching them. The EP8 is also tuned to give more power in Trail mode without affecting range. So paired with Shimano's biggest 630wh battery it ensures the Bullit is fully equipped for long, tough climbs to the longest, toughest descents.
