A 120mm fork, wider 760mm bar, shorter stem, wider grippier tyres and even our Enduro developed V-grips, make these the most trail-ready bikes in this price category. You'll find it hard to believe the 603 is Whyte's entry level mountain bike: with carefully chosen, branded parts and a high quality, latest generation frame it has all the hallmarks of Whyte's award winning DNA. The latest frame bristles with UK design features such as the "Get A Grip" seat post clamp system. This allows quick adjustment, fantastic weather proofing and a nice ergonomic lever which is easy to operate however cold your hands might be. Geometry, the angles that define the way a bike interacts with the rider and the trail, is the most important part of any bike's character and performance. It affects every aspect from that welcoming initial confidence, comfort and control, to how hard you push yourself hours into a race or what new technical sections you've mastered months after your first ride. Whether it's that crucial traction balance on the crux move of a killer climb or calmly making a turn millimetres from the edge of potential disaster on a flat out descent, we've designed our bikes to handle superbly in every situation.
