| Style | The Whyte T130, and now the T140 has been one of whyte's most successful bike's winning loads of reviews and much copied. The winning design has stayed the same for the last few years and as more options have come available to push modern bike geometry forward the bike has evolved again. The bikes now feature forks with a 37mm offset, (these forks have only become widely available this year). This has the affect of increasing the trail of the fork and stabilising the steering when descending at speed and going around corners. Head angle has been slackened to 65.6 degrees from 67 degrees and the seatangle has been steepened from 73.5 degrees to 75 degrees to keep you over the centre of the bike. In addition the suspension kinematics have been improved to give more control and the linkages stiffened. |
