Style: A unique take on the 29er thing, whyte set out to design a 29er bike that handled more like their 26" wheeled cousins. To do this needed a super short rear end to put the rear wheel in a similar place to where a 26" wheel would sit. This was accomplished by bending the seat-tube and using a direct mount front mech that allows the rear wheel to be positioned further forward. This then allowed the head angle to be relaxed, to give better control whilst descending.
Whytes unique sliding dropout system allows for the rear end to be extended for maximum mud clearance when plugging through the mud in the winter months.
