Description: RACE LEVER
Super lightweight design - CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy, giving smooth, progressive feel and power. The split clamp allows for quick adjustment and the lightweight machined alloy lever features a textured grip area. Lever reach is adjustable via allen key and the master cylinder reservoir is integrated to allow easy bleeding.
The unit is completed with our durable anodised finish to withstand weather, cleaning and general trail use and hi tensile polyester reinforced hydraulic hose is used to give a sharp, solid feel to the system.
BOLTS
10 titanium bolts are used on the Race X2, helping to keep the weight below the 275g mark. They comprise - 6 Torx head rotor bolts, 2 caliper mount bolts and 2 bracket mount bolts (dependent on mountings) - plus 2 aluminium master cylinder clamp bolts.
X2 CALIPER
This neat, slimline caliper optimises the very latest COSMOSWorks FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software to reduce unnecessary weight, improve aesthetics and create a high performance partnership with the superlight Race Lever.
The caliper is machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy and an increased piston diameter, generating more usable braking force on the rotor. A drip free bleed nipple and wide angle orientation of the fluid inlet connector have also been added, allowing for neater hose routing and cleaner servicing. The Race X2 pads are backed with a alloy plate for lighter weight. The caliper is completed with our durable anodised finish to withstand weather, cleaning and general trail use and laser etched graphics are specific to the Race X2.
