Ibis

Ibis Cycles have been around since 1981, making cutting edge mountain bikes and road bikes, and in 1995 developed the carbon fibre Mojo mountain bike.

The Ibis Mojo is still made today and comes in several guises. The Mojo's all use the DW link for the rear suspension to deliver superb suspension control in lightweight stiff packages.

New for 2015 is the Ibis Mojo HD3 which brings the mojo hd up to date with the latest frame construction techniques and wheel size. Offering 150mm of rear suspension travel the HD3 mated with a 150mm or 160mm suspension fork offers possibly one of the best trail bike experiences out there. Weighing in at only 27lb built up with the XO1 drivetrain and proper trail tyres and yet still very stiff and responsive. The 650b wheel size sits in-between the 26" and 29" tyre sizes and offers the best of both sizes, roll over ability and stability of the bigger 29" wheel with some of the quick handling characteristics of the 26" wheel.

The Ibis Ripley is Ibis's long awaited 29er bike/frame. The Ripley was several years in the making and was voted bike of the year by singletracks editor for 2013. The goal for the Ripley was to make a lightweight and nimble and fun trail bike, and at Moose Cycles we think they succeeded!

The Ripley offers 120mm of suspension travel at the rear and is compatible with either a 120mm or 140mm travel fork on the front.It uses the DW link to give excellent small bump compliance,xc like acceleration and predictable travel through its range

For 2015/16 the Ibis Ripley has been redesigned to improve stiffness as well as make more rear tyre clearance and added to the range is a new more trail orientated version called the Ripley LS, which has a slightly longer top tube and a slacker head angle.
