Ibis Cycles have been around since 1981, making cutting edge mountain bikes and road bikes, and in 1995 developed the carbon fibre Mojo mountain bike.

The Ibis Mojo is still made today and comes in several guises. The Mojo’s all use the DW link for the rear suspension to deliver superb suspension control in lightweight stiff packages.

New for 2012 is the Ibis mojo SL-R which brings the mojo up to date with the latest frame construction techniques. Offering 140mm of rear suspension travel the SL-R can be built up into a 24 lb lightweight all mountain suspension bike.

The Ibis Mojo HD is the bigger brother of the Mojo SL-R and offers either 140 or 160mm of suspension travel in a burlier but still lightweight package.

The 140mm travel Ibis Mojo, which Ibis introduced in 2005, pioneered efficient, lightweight long travel suspension, blurring the lines between those previously separate categories. The Ibis Mojo HD takes this concept a step further, giving riders another level of skill and confidence in nearly every situation, combined with uncanny climbing prowess.

The Mojo HD is available in 140mm of travel or 160mm of travel and is burlier and stiffer than the Mojo SL-R and is suitable for the more aggressive rider.

Also new for 2012 is the Ibis Special Blend. Using the Mojo SL frame Ibis have made a complete carbon framed mountain bike that sells for £2500, not much more that the price of the original Ibis mojo frame.
